In a weird way, it feels like I am collecting Magic cards again… except… they are Daggerheart equipment cards for my players and… I’m creating, laminating and sleeving them myself…

Question: as a ttrpg player in a D&D or Daggerheart campaign: are you okay with situations in which you can’t stop everything or save everyone? If you go to save Gondor, but, it means Rohan gets obliterated, do you care as long as, either way, you still end up throwing the One Ring into Mt. Doom?

How does one become a Buddhist monk, anyway? Do you just show up at a temple in Tibet and be like: “I hate my life and the world is going to hell.” and they’re like: “Cool- there’s the rice, over there is the incense, good luck with enlightenment!” or… ?

My next Daggerheart Session has three of my players getting sucked into a pocket dimension that belongs to an insane god. Anyway, this might be my favorite homebrew adversary I've ever created- his Cerberus Puppy named Fluffy.

As a Forever GM, I got to play in my second ever Daggerheart One Shot tonight and got the “howdydoodidoodi” on a 90 point Fireball. What a game!

Does anyone else feel like we are in a game of God’s Civilization VI where he was going for a culture/science victory but then hit a late game Dark Age and just said: “Fuck it- I’m going for Domination.”

@slyflourish.com - This is the Daggerheart Environment that I made from your Scroll of Akrave Adventure when I converted it to Daggerheart! It was super fun to run with a table that had not only never played Daggerheart, but, most of which were extremely new to TTRPGs.

Every year that goes by, I realize more and more that being a 40-something DINKWADS with money and a nearly infinite access to alcohol is (little did I know) all of my childhood dreams come true.

I don’t remember spaceships in HE-MAN, but, it sounds like that’s because I stopped watching before that happened?

I ran @slyflourish.com ‘a Scroll of Akrave last night for a table of new players. It went great! I put the scroll in the crypt’s library and then had a Faerie Spider from @goodegggames.bsky.social “Archibalds Almanac of Adversaries” turn the library into its lair. Good times were had by all!

This week, I started converting @slyflourish.com 's Scroll of Akrave Scenario into a Daggerheart One Shot as well as using Incredible Adversaries by @tuckerauthor.bsky.social and @mikerunderwood.bsky.social for my Sunday Daggerheart game! I'm so excited right now.

For what it’s worth, Federal police were in our neighborhood several times a day until we carpeted the trees and telephone poles with these.

I don't do drugs, but, if the hit is anything like the feeling when I take the first sip of green tea in the morning, I think I get it.
