Saw a podcast clip where Jay Mohr uses the word "schnorrer" and according to Wiki he was raised Presbyterian and converted to Catholicism and as a fellow Gen X NJ-raised goyishe actor who peppers his vocabulary with Yiddishisms I felt a kindredness I'd never felt for him before.

Went to an open mic variety show at my son’s college last night and a kid did a Rodney Dangerfield impression (“Does anyone know who Rodney Dangerfield is?” he asked and me and two other people clapped). Also two boys in monk costumes covered “I Wanna Be Sedated.” The kids are alright.

Had a voiceover audition to be the voice of a parrot on a TV commercial and the producer notes said "we need to intuitively believe this voice is a parrot" and that the parrot should have an "optimistic tone." An optimistic parrot. I did my best.

At a restaurant with family and “Money” came on as background music and as soon as the coins sound effect intro started my wife’s 10-year-old niece said “Uh-oh, Pink Floyd’s comin’!” The child’s grasp of classic rock gives me hope for the future.

I haven't seen a single commenter or article point out that Tennessee Representative Aftyn Behn's name is very similar to the 17th century British woman playwright Aphra Behn. Do I have to do everything around here?
