@rdtopp.bsky.social I’m listening to this week’s tailgate pod and did the calendar math on Miz starts. They can get to the end of the season pitching him every 6th day without skipping a start for 10 starts. He’d pitch 6x in Aug (1st, 7, 13, 19, 25, and 31) and 4x in Sep (6th, 12, 18, 24).
19th most fun team preseason. Best team in baseball on July 20. Really boring season I guess

The Brewers have gone too far with their mandate of no hitter challenges (unless you are Gary Sanchez). It's not that hard to give them a framework of when to challenge. 2 strike counts with guys on and late in games, especially when you have two left.
