Before getting into the Phoenix on Saturday, me and half the group got stranded outside and went to another bar, here is proof of lil' necklace since the other photos didn't really capture it.🧡

I want to do a satirical horror comedy about a bunch of chickens who mistakenly get sent to a chick farm and see what really happens to their offspring, then going on a murderous rampage. I'll call it: Chickens, Run!🐣

Woke up to this lovely care package😊 Thank you to the person who sent this, it really makes up for my pub closing, now I will have one at home during my birthday on Thursday!🙌🥳🍻

Finally recovered enough to post about the other night & the closing of our local alt venue after going there for 10 years. So many good times and people, sad to see it go. Perhaps the place will rise again someday🖤

We in the library have been charged with making a section look like a book shop. Assigning one out of 10 genres by checking the catalogue records for the subject, but the entries are all pretty... inconsistent. Take this copy, all I have to go on are the words: Legends, Revenge, Villages, Ecuador.😅

Fire alarm went off at the library during my lunch break, used the opportunity to sit outside and feed one of my magpie friends. Hopefully all the books won't have burnt down by the time I get back🤞

Mixed emotions over my birthday period is also the closing of my local hangout bar, that I've been going to for over a decade, mourning period. But it is a black tie funeral event tomorrow and I am planning to attend!🖤 (If I can find and fit into my black suit attire!)

Someone challenged me to find an antique book with a pink cover design and I finally found one on the library store shelves from 1879 (I am a little curious about the dye discolouring and how it might have looked 150 years ago, but it's close enough)🩷

It's the first of September and officially my birthday month! (?) Is that how it works? Or should I be like timing it for the span of a month? Can I still say it's my birthday month like 2 weeks after my birthday? It's too complicated, can I just go back to having the singular Birth-Day?!😢

Last night actually got quite emotional when the DJ gave a speech about supporting alternative music nights, then we crowd surfed him from the stage to the bar and back twice. Then they brought out tray after tray of shots and I don't know how not to take a free drink each time it's offered😅
