Amy and I had a blast at the Downtown After 5 Juneteenth Celebration in Asheville! It was great to meet so many new friends and supporters of the campaign.

Corruption is running rampant in Washington. Members of Congress on both sides are trading stocks and padding their own pockets, more worried about their lobbyist friends than they are their own constituents. That’s not only wrong, it’s pathetic and downright unpatriotic.

It was great to visit Bullington Gardens in Hendersonville and see the work they’re doing to connect kids, families, and neighbors with the natural world. Some places remind you what community can grow when people put down roots and care for something together.
