I loved it. Epic like LOTR/Gladiator. Lots of mini adventures that builds the overall punch of the story.

Eek there is still plenty of tickets left for the opening ceremony of the commonwealth games next week…. When Glasgow hosted in 2014 the opening sold out 8 months in advance and was in a venue three times as large 😬

Going on holiday next week so went a preemptive trip to the docs to counter all the allergic reactions I’m going to have.

We think we are masters of the planet. So smart, so capable. And yet we don’t even know how many types of monkey there are. I love that for us. Still so much wonder out there.

A thing I am terrible at - asking people social questions. I tend to only ask things when I require an answer which makes me seem rude, but it’s actually me being polite because I don’t want people to feel obligated to answer. 🙃 (It’s been a long day on trains)

I love doing convention panels. So many people came up to me after to say how much they like my hosting, which is lovely 🥰 The guests are particularly complimentary. One guest (not pictured) refused to go on unless I was hosting - which just makes me wonder how bad things normally go 😂
