Small update on this. Definitely getting to the point where there's more decent to alright games than bangers, which is fun (redacted is a review game, more on that soon).

Don't suppose anyone has a good monitor reecommendation that's affordable, has a good refresh rate and a decent resolution? The one I've had for over 15 years is starting to flicker and make some hissing noises, so I think it's finally biting the dust. (no LG monitors pls)
Maybe the people posting about that Playstation boycott could look at the BDS Xbox boycott for actual tangible goals and longer lasting pressure if they want to try affect change. Turning off a PS5 for a week isn't going to do shit. Hearts in the right place, mind isn't.
Both EA FC 27 and NBA 2K27 have $200+ editions year that are all tied to this. I get that if it's the one game you play all year then sure, but if you're paying $200+ and then have to pony up more money because you're starting from scratch...isn't that a problem? God I hate modern sports games.

The ultimate edition of this year's WWE 2K was AUD$230, & most of that was for junk 100% tied to the gacha & online modes, both of which get deactivated after 3-ish years & don't carry progress over to future games anyway despite *heavy* content recycling.
It is right and good for people to have divergent critical opinions and perspectives concerning art and media.
