Another 2 Honey Buzzards today in great conditions,The first - this striped juvenile which came in over the harbour at 12.30 and continued inland.An unsexed Adult came low and West over the house at 16.30 with Gulls & Peregrine in pursuit was my 10th of the year so far here at the coast.#kentbirding

Some migration along the Dover cliffs in the past couple of days. Highlighted by 5 pied flycatchers and a male Honey Buzzard today, + a juvenile Hen harrier y’day. Good numbers of willows and commoner warblers few whinchat plus a few common waders whilst hirundines increase overhead #kentbirding

1,880 Chaffinches NE from Langdon hole this am, my best morning so far this March (with just over 1k y'day) 200 siskin, 5 Brambling, 10 Greenfinch. Single Black Redstart present & 2 White wagtail in off. A single Swallow y'day is my only trans-saharan migrant so far this spring #kentbirding

More from Mexico; Streaked-backed Oriole, Ash-throated Flycatcher, Orange breasted bunting and Common Pauraque . Saw Humpbacked whales every other day and managed to fit in some birding before and after work, great trip.
