#HistFicMay Day 5 All my novels are dual timelines. The first story is usually set in WWll or the decades following and the second story is set a generation or two later. I like to explore how the actions of a family member in one generation can affect those in the next. #secrets #forbiddenlove

#HistFicMay26 Day 3 Series or standalones? All my novels are standalones but I write groups of novels. Books 1-3: mothers and daughters. Books 4-6: sisters. I have signed a new contract with my publisher for three more novels. Books 7-9: the relationship between grandmothers and granddaughters.

#HistFicMay26 Day 1 - Introduce yourself and your writing. I’m Jan and I live in Cardiff, writing dual-timeline historical fiction about families and their secrets for Joffe Books/Choc Lit. My 6th book, The Stolen Sister, came out on February 24th this year. #HistoricalFiction #dualtimelines #Wales
