The first thing Virginia Spanberger did after being sworn in as Governor of Virginia was repeal Youngkin’s executive order requiring state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE. This is the kind of leadership Democratic governors nationwide should be emulating.

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter. I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

I can’t stop crying after watching the ICE agent’s video that just leaked. There was absolutely no reason for this. I am even more horrified than I was before. She said nothing that even warranted anger.
