welcome new bluesky friends! I was recently added to two cool lists I have a twitch and instagram where I primarily post @janetacarr everywhere, basically.

low key a little pissed that LLMs ruined the em dash in writing the em dash was central to my writing voice and I'm struggling to dance around it and keep my flow

nobody cares if LLMs produce poor code quality code quality is not a KPI, OKR, SMART goal, CSF, or CPI. it doesn't matter to corpos. when poor code quality reaches criticality, business systems can fail. So let them eat cake.

well this is surprising apparently someone is impersonating me on @discord.com ? my discord username is "janetacarr" ( formerly janetacarr#0930) photo sent by a viewer (note the _ in the impersonator's username). careful out there

each year i become more convinced that professional software development deliberately perverts the enjoyment of programming and it doesn't have to be this way

i hate to admit it but it seems talking to LLMs like corpos works best; doing praise and criticize / feedback sandwich produced best results ie "this is great work. Can you blah blah blah? I love the work so far" Also saying "homie" works well too.

if you want LLMs to write more of your "favourite programming language" for you you don't have a favourite programming language. You have a technology tribe.
