Happy Pride Month, Maine! Everyone deserves the freedom to live authentically and marry who they love without fear. I’m proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community, today and every day. 🏳️🌈

Maine's first woman District Attorney, Attorney General, and Governor. A fighter and winner. Running for the U.S. Senate to stand up for the people of Maine.
My statement suspending my candidacy for the U.S. Senate:
Maine people are my North Star — I'm grateful to have you all in this fight with me.
Trump — with the help of Susan Collins — has stacked the Supreme Court with judges who are chipping away at our democracy, silencing voices, and eroding progress. Today's decision to gut protections in the Voting Rights Act that serve as a foundation for equal representation is beyond disgraceful.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court struck down a majority Black congressional district in Louisiana, weakening a landmark voting rights law’s protections against discrimination in redistricting.
Susan Collins claims to be an independent voice for Maine in the Senate, but she's voted with Trump 93% of the time — even when it hurts Maine people. She wants a sixth term to continue to do his bidding, but I won't let that happen.
Thank you to everyone who joined me at Argenta Brewing Co. this evening in Portland to kick off the week! I’m working to earn each and every one of your votes — and in the Senate, I’ll fight for you with all I’ve got.
As Governor, I’ve made historic investments in affordable housing, but there is more to be done at the federal level. Today, I met with housing experts to hear from them about what steps Congress should take to make the dream of homeownership a reality for all Maine people.
Trump’s war in Iran and his whipsawing tariffs are driving up the price on everything from gas to goods — and it’s having an effect on our small businesses. We need a Senator who will stand up to him, because Susan Collins isn’t.
As Governor, I've made free community college permanent, raised teacher pay, and provided free school meals to students from Pre-K through high school. We've fought to make school affordable and accessible for all kids here in Maine — and I'll do the same at the federal level.
A strong economy works for everyone — not just those at the top. It's time to re-stack the deck for working people by closing loopholes in the federal tax code and making sure the wealthy pay their fair share — both things I'll fight to do in the Senate.
Great to meet with voters in Yarmouth this evening. The path to turning the Senate blue runs through Maine — let’s give our state the voice it deserves in Washington!
Nothing like a bit of Friday night hockey! Great win last night — let's do it again tonight! 🏒💚
Couldn’t miss the first game of the Kelly Cup Playoffs for our Maine Mariners!
In every living room, auditorium, or gymnasium I visit across our state, the message is clear — Maine people want a proven fighter for them in Washington, and are ready for Susan Collins to go. I've got what it takes to win this election and help take back the Senate.
Maine needs a Senator who will stand up and fight back against Donald Trump’s abuses and actions — not bend the knee like Susan Collins. I've done it before, and I'll do it again in the Senate.
The aggressive and provocative tactics used by ICE here in Maine and across the country shouldn't be rewarded. We need accountability and reforms to keep our communities safe, but Susan Collins would rather toe the party line than do the right thing. www.bangordailynews.com/2026/04/23/p...
Susan Collins and Republicans advance $70 billion for ICE, Border Patrol
Collins has harshly criticized Democrats over the partial government shutdown, calling it “inexcusable” that DHS is shut down during the Iran war.

When people drop their insurance because it’s no longer affordable, it raises the cost for everyone else — and for some, that can mean losing access to life-saving care. Susan Collins refused to extend the ACA tax credits, and it’s Maine people who are paying the price.
My Administration made the largest investment in building affordable and accessible housing in Maine history, but there's more work to be done. Owning a home is part of the American dream — as Senator, I'll work to make that dream a reality for all Maine people.
David Morse has accomplished so much during his time as Mayor of Westbrook, and has been an incredible advocate for his community. I couldn’t be more grateful for his support in this race, and I look forward to continuing our work together as Senator.
Climate change is at our doorstep — and Maine people are bearing the brunt of it. Today, on Earth Day, let us remind ourselves of the critical role we all play in protecting the beautiful state we call home.
As Governor, I delivered over $200 million in economic relief to thousands of Maine small businesses, including Three of Strong Spirits here in Portland. As Senator, I'll continue to have the backs of our small businesses and fight for the support they need.
Thank you, Shelley, for sharing your story — kids and families like yours are why I'm so proud that my Administration was able to make free community college permanent here in Maine.
We shouldn't just have to accept the fact that gas and heating oil prices will remain high for the next year. The President is waging a reckless war — with Susan Collins' stamp of approval — and Maine people are facing skyrocketing costs as a result.
U.S. average gasoline prices may not return to pre-war levels under $3-per-gallon until next year, Energy Secretary Chris Wright said today.
It’s been a joy visiting small businesses across the state — talking about their successes and the challenges some still face. In the Senate, I’ll fight for policies to help them grow and thrive, just as I have as your Governor.
Maine people are my North Star — I’ve spent my career fighting for you, and I won’t stop now.
Busy day on the trail called for a stop at The Cookie Jar!
I love traveling across our great state as we continue this campaign. Full steam ahead!
