I am starting to suspect that if you're a software developer, getting out of the house is the only reliable way to get good startup ideas. Basecamp has been done a millions times. But a marketplace for animals drugs maybe once? Veterinarians probably don't start SaaS businesses.

They say “200 OK with an error” is a bad practice. Well, if it so bad, why is it so easy and convenient to do? Besides, why does the user care if it is 200 or 400 or 500? They want to be told what went wrong and none of these numbers do that. The message does, however.
