A visitor on the 8th anniversary of my mother’s death. Grateful for the big/little wins on the tough days. Miss you, Mom. Rest easy with Dad. 🥲❤️🥲
Icon lost. Outside of her incredible music landscape and touch, I particularly admired Dolly’s philanthropic nature and use of her platform for good, close to my heart - her outstanding support of literacy for children. Rest well. Artwork by @deadder.bsky.social 🦋
Timeline cleanse. Beautiful feathered friend popped by early today. Always a gift. 🌹
Was gifted this gigantic single stock of lilies this past weekend. Thank you, Ena! Absolutely stunning. Can’t believe this is one stock. Wow-factor.
It’s taken two weeks but now he arrives every morning! And today I sat about three feet away when he had his breakfast. Lu gave me this picnic table as a Christmas gift and it brings me so much joy. The little, red umbrella keeps the blue jays away so Mr. 🐿️ can have his 🥜
If those walks could talk! There was indeed many hours of talking and laughing this weekend. Look at this group of former tv news and production friends and peers from the late 80s onward! Media mavens unite! Incredible two nights near Chester. Thanks to K for hosting. ❤️😇
Be like Goo: Seek shade if outside for long periods. Avoid strenuous, outdoor activities. Have a great weekend, all. Love Goo and Goo’s adoptive mum. 🐈🏖️🧜♀️🦩
It took a week, but I got the pic! National Geographic look out!
Serene weekend by the sea at White Point will cure what ails you. Because - bunnies! 🐇
When a $10 inflatable pink flamingo (and her babies) casually floats by. Thank you to our daughter for this summertime whimsy which makes me smile every time I see it. 🦩
My daughter and I in our disco/70s gear for a birthday/retirement party this past weekend. I have never loved my hair more in my life. Can I wear this wig to buy groceries? Disco and sequins in the bread aisle. 🪩😂 💃
Less than a month away from submitting the manuscript for my next book! If it’s greenlighted, it will be published in spring 2027. Wahoo! Happy writer. Tired writer. Break coming soon! 👊
The first tiny tomato goes to Laura! This is a Roma variety. Laura and I are growing Roma & beefsteak tomatoes. I post this for the friends who know about “One Tiny Tomato,” a tribute written IMO of Baz Landry & the joy of laughter. nimbus.ca/store/the-no... @pottersfieldpress.bsky.social 🍅❤️🍅❤️🍅❤️
Fam jam at the jam: Saw the talented Lisa Richard and Warren Robert at White Point Beach Lodge this past weekend. They killed it. Bravo! There was music, bunnies, golfing, a wedding (we were merely observers), more bunnies, and loads of laughs. Love our road trips! 🐇⛳️🧜♀️🍉🇨🇦
This massive dragonfly (size of your palm, anyway) came to visit today. It is eating well. Nature is a wonder.

Mile high lemon meringue from a recent trip to Ireland. This was at Gloria Osteria restaurant in Dublin. Northern Italian cuisine. Most staff are from Milan. Highly recommend! The best lemon pie I have ever had. The meringue was like cream. Holy.
Rob and I have just returned from a bucket list trip to Ireland! Planes. Trains. Automobiles. We explored Dublin, Galway, and County Clare - to the world renowned Cliffs of Moher! There are no photos that will ever do the latter! Mind boggling natural beauty! 🇮🇪❤️🇮🇪
A toast to tenacity: I am three weeks or 21 days of work away from submitting the manuscript for my next book! This is for consideration for Spring 2027. Thank you to the inner circle of people who help cheer me on during the development stage. Grateful. @pottersfieldpress.bsky.social
Peony season always reminds me of my late mother. She loved them. I do, too. You just have to watch out for the ants on the underside. 🐜 I have three varieties. Two shades of pink and white. They are just coming into their glory and are a little late this year. 🌺
That is a lobster roll. Homemade is the best. Not my work or recipe but I did get to enjoy this thing of beauty. I don’t post a lot of food pics but this is worthy. It lasted about 5-10 minutes.
