None of us are free until all of us are free. My third grandmother was not born free,but when she was a teenager she walked to see the Emancipation Proclamation. I was the first in my family born with voting rights. I never saw a world where that wasn’t possible.

So the end of Feb really spiraled my mental health and only a few of my friends reached out and checked on me. Thank you to those that did. You all are the absolute best

Do you ever stop to think about how much colonialism and racism has just completely screwed everyone over? How it colors our choices and we don’t know until someone points it out?

I feel so isolated in a community I desperately want to be more involved in.
