Today the EU formally adopted its first science diplomacy framework. The move comes as European policymakers increasingly view science diplomacy not only as a way to build international cooperation, but to sustain it.

Today, the Council adopted a recommendation on a European Union framework for science diplomacy, following a proposal by the European Commission.
