I feel like this is a very strong counter to a lot of arguments about fundamental economic or structural obstacles to decarbonization, or that it requires a comprehensive reorganization of our system of production. It's a political choice, that's all.

It's absolutely astonishing: In just about 13 years, Norway has skyrocketed from virtually no sales of zero-emission battery electric vehicles to nearly 100% of all new passenger car purchases.

A fairly unique feature here is that imposing structure allows the algorithm to generalise to phase spaces (physics processes) it hasn’t seen in the training!

More are noting the “AI boom” is masking the pain from tariffs and lost tourism. In the past 6 months, AI infra spend added more to US economic growth than all consumer spending. We’re entering a cycle where Trump policies create pain driving AI adoption, fueling the very boom that hides the damage

Was die @iea.org in ihrem jüngsten Bericht über Deutschland aufgeschrieben hat, ist nicht nur ein ziemlich gutes Zeugnis für die Energiepolitik der Ampel-Koalition (mit Ausnahme des Verkehrssektors) – sondern auch die klare Empfehlung an die nächste Regierung, am bisherigen Kurs festzuhalten:
