I realize he’s a moron anyway, but FWIW, making DC & PR states would actually only result in 5-6 more House members and 9-10 more Electoral Votes…and even then, PR actually tends to lean right of center overall as i understand it, so it’s conceivable that this would be a net GAIN for Republicans.

I don't think she has it locked, but Howard Dean said in an interview recently that he knew his campaign was in trouble several weeks *before* the infamous "Iowa Scream" when he noticed that while his rallies were still packed, he kept seeing *the same people* at all of them. They were groupies.
