animator #oheobebiwiba drawing Knights of Guinevere. site: https://kfiago.me

Animation-wise and beyond the obvious climax, I was particularly drawn to the sequence that Ayako Minoshima likely had a hand in. Absurdly good artwork on a technical level, and I particularly like how the villain is rendered in a more tactile way to enhance the creepy vibes

pet peeve: someone tries laying out the plight of the animator in general, then as an example they bring up the grit of animators in foreign countries, and then (a seeming slight of hand) using the example of that grit to prop up modern American animation as good or important. like why’d u do that

Knights of Guinevere is a psychological thriller that welcomes you to a planet-wide theme park in the clouds!… And the shadows below, where a broken Princess Android is two dreamers’ tickets to better lives, or the end of them. :3 💙

i get a bit bummed that all the site formats on squarespace more or less feel the same, with the big banner space frontloaded to hold a 4k picture, and the little pockets of text below like yea what if i WANT my website to look like a university’s project site for their translation of the Iliad smh

i feel like suspension of disbelief isn’t just a response to story, but a response to design in general. if you take an animation made up of ten drawings, and switch one drawing with a traced copy, then i’d say that the animation as a whole has changed into a fundamentally different experience.

were people really buying new xbox 360s whenever they red-ringed? i can understand not wanting to throw away your favorite games, but buying a new machine while knowing it could break at any time for no reason, that never made sense to me

im here like a GTX 1050ti cant be THAT bad these days right?? thing is so advanced that people were benchmarking it on Battle…field…1….in 2016……… 🫥

yo if u were a giant that tried to crush me with ur fist but then i used my superior acrobatic speed to jump on your fist while it’s rooted in the ground, ran up your arm and shoulder with wide angle lens, and delivered a counter attack directly to a side of your face/head, would u be mad at me
