Next month is a year since I got into lifting and I am very psyched about that tbh. It has been a practice of discipline and that's what I wanted. I wanted to hate the work until I loved it. Now I am mildly jacked and at my lowest weight in over a decade. Brains are weird.
Went to a yoga class with my wife last night and damn near fell on my ass. Few things as humbling as being a grown man, stumbling in the dark, loudly whispering "what the fuck is this" as you attempt to contort your body into forms god never intended to the laughter of a 20 year old white girl.
My comic book hot take is that too many people can wield Mjolnir. I think one or two aside from Thor is cool. Anything more and I'm like okay so being worthy is a rather low bar to achieve.

Made dinner for my wife tonight. Had a side of roasted green beans with a cilantro lime vinaigrette and I was like holy shit this is incredible. Cooking rocks man. You can just do things. And it works or it sucks.
