Also the amazing @playhilltop.bsky.social have their brand new demo for The Curse of Resthaven in the event and my god is this one just incredible.

Frame that reads "Six One Demo Days" with the details of july 31-August 7th and the website for six one indie. Within the frame is the key art for Curse of Resthaven, which show's the text in a stylized historical font, the protagonist holding a torch, with a woman in the background and a strange old woman looking over holding a card. A mountain is in the distant background.

Really excited to say that not one, but two games I've worked on are part of the incredible @sixoneindie.com Demo Days celebration from today. I've been a huge fan of what Six One does since day 1, so this feels special. Check out both Midnight Moments & Shutter Story on Steam today.

When disability happens to you, you won’t be able to just “try harder”. The social supports you think magically appear? They won’t show up. The medical system will let you down. Friends & family will abandon you. You will realize disability advocates were right all along.

What if I told you that all of the Publishing Agreements I have reviewed in the last 6 months (several dozen) included a no gen AI provision, wherein the use of gen AI in development is a material breach, but companies like Epic and EA are still trying to convince us the industry is cool with it

He's only gone and written 2,500 more words about how game devs feel about generative AI. Latest piece quotes around two dozen different people with an indie background. When asked how they feel about gen AI, not one, but two devs responded, "Fuck that shit." www.gamesradar.com/games/it-cre...
