Day 1 of #EFNW2026 was, as expected, an absolute blast. Got to meet up with some new and old internet friends, did some panel hopping, Ponystock, and of course, got in the famous linecon for Tabitha St. Germain and Amy Keating Rogers. Looking forward to Day 2!

New fic is out: The Last Mote in the Long Dark "Sandbar ventures into the flooded ruins of New Horseleans in search of Gallus. It's not just because he needs to know if he's alive; it's also because he has something he's been waiting to say." www.fixfiction.net/story/593156...

I don't know what it says about me that when I saw the stuff being presented at SDCC about the new generation of #mlp, my initial thought was, "Oh, God, the fandom discourse is gonna be EXHAUSTING" 😅

Saying I put some real work into this one would imply I don't for my other stories... But I would be lying if I didn't say this one feels different than the rest. I hope I treated the subject with the grace and care it deserves. www.fimfiction.net/story/591766...

The Survivors

A five-year separation ends when Octavia comes to Ponyville to visit her cousin, Fiddlesticks. She brings with her bad news, and a hope for an answer. She may be five years too late in getting one.

Realize that while I've posted a lot about my music, I haven't actually really talked about or even promoted any of my writing. Felt more awkward to do so (maybe because they're #mlp fanfics). But there's no sense in that. Writing is meant to be read, after all. Gonna share a few below!

There has GOT to be a more fluid way to set up an orchestral workflow in FL Studio without having so many patterns for each instrument's articulation - I just haven't found it yet. Or ever.😵
