VOLATHON 2025
PREAMBLE

First, I'd like to thank everyone who supported the Hellywood Theater this year. Without you, this show would not be possible.

Your kindness and generosity will not be forgotten or go unappreciated.

Even now I'm working hard to get all of your incentives and prizes made and delivered. I'd like to get it all delivered within 2 months at the latest (and please hold me accountable to that).

Before I continue, I'd like to personally thank everyone who contributed this year:

VOLATHON 2025
The Good

Y'all earned a total of 12,632 points over the course of Volathon and knocked out 22 goals!

Not only that, but we also achieved partner on twitch and funded the Dual PC setup! Thanks to you, our streams and shows are going to be stronger and better than ever!

We had so many awesome new memories with community nights together! We made a lot of friends! We played a lot of great games! We made SO MUCH art!

We even finished a complete chronological run of Kingdom Hearts in Proud Mode!

The Bad

I think some of my time values for Volathon might've been miscalculated. Also, in spite of all of the precautions we made, some of the tracking was missed and I've done what I can to correct it.

This year we used a completely in-house Subathon timer and there's some flaws that I'd like to fix before next Volathon.

I think the goal intervals were also a bit awkward and I'd like to have more refined personal goals next year.

The Ugly

90 Days was a lot, and I think any future Volathons will be capped. I had discussed capping it at 40 days last night, but I think I might actually go lower, cap all future Volathons at 20 days. I feel like it's better for my mental health, and gives me better ways to plan around it. These long subathons are just not sustainable on a personal level, and I want to do better for you, bonelings.

I'd like to avoid burnout and I'd like to give you a better show.
