I'm in a mood today. Just blocked a bunch of profiles that some of you have been reposting. If it is political at all, it gets blocked. I don't care if you're left or right or up or down. I don't want to hear it or see it. I'm here for baseball cards and cool music.

Someone (I think it was @nightowlcardz.bsky.social) talked about Bip Roberts getting a card, then showing up in a later Traded set without changing teams, and wondered if it happened to anyone else. I found another example for you...
I liked Adley Rutschman. Sad to see him go to Boston. I don't like to see players I like go to Boston, LA, or NY.
"Well, he has only allowed two hits, and only walked two...but he's pitched six innings so we better yank our best player out of the game!" To be fair, it was a blow-out by this time...BUT the same decision probably would have been made if the score was 2-1.
Six very quality innings from Chase Burns! #Reds
Skubal to the Dodgers, and Bowie Kuhn is rolling over in his grave.

I have 104 out of 132 cards of the 1989 Topps Traded set on openbinders. I've also started picking up some of the other Traded cards. I love this site.
It's almost time to get the easel and paints back out...
I always love hearing about great players like Tommy Gwynn, Orville Hershiser, and Darnell Strawberry.
A couple of nice surprises in my bonus packs today... 👀
I like the hats, but I would make one tweak. There should be as many stars on the player's hat as ASGs he has been a part of.
It would be really cool if the NL's starting pitcher was named Desist.
I'm not sure if I'm still a baseball fan. I've never heard of any of these guys.
Eugenio Suárez is one of those players I like without having a concrete reason why I like him @jasontcarter.bsky.social
I wonder if an announcer ever said the words, "Our player of the game is Allen Ripley, believe it or not!"
1987 Cincinnati Reds All-Stars: a starting outfield, backup catcher, and relief pitcher. #CardSky
Fun Cards: 1987 Topps All-Stars Eric Davis, Bo Diaz, and John Franco
The first All-Star Game I remember watching was the 1987 contest held in Oakland. While I had been collecting baseball cards for at least a year (maybe two) at this point, the significance of baseb…

Very curious about this "All-Star 3-on-3" and what "legends" might be participating. Why did the Old-Timers games stop? I would love to see Eric Davis, Barry Larkin, and Jose Rijo back out on the field! Or have we missed the window for those guys to participate in things like that?

Mike Scott looks like he would be right at home on an old tobacco card.
Guess the player. Only 1 ASG. This one really surprised me.
