The idea of Megaman slowly losing his mind as he instructed to murder all of his friends is genuinely so interesting to me, most of the robots you destroy will never be repaired, especially in megaman X, Rock losing his mind the further into the game is now a permanent headcanon for me #megaman
What's crazy to me is that in the 1990s videogames were only for children but every level in megaman X is designed to be as difficult as an end game level due to the non linear game structure, the game doesn't adjust itself to your progress level, it's just "go beat the evil robots, have fun!"
