I watched this game. The baseball was awesome. Only negatives were one notable famous male baseball player giving a super patronising interview about it being "as good as minor league", and some amateurish production that kept cutting away from live baseball to interview men. Read the room!

I grew up in the Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto and I distinctly remember during the cold war in the 80s seeing Canadian submarines floating in Lake Ontario. The submarines would stay a bit away from shore and you'd just see periscopes scanning for pirates on Lake Ontario

This is true. Today their presence is reduced, but that's only because the naval base has relocated to Bloordale Beach, which has a limited capacity for submarine operations.

Crossing Dundas Street at the Don Valley bridge because the sidewalk is closed due to a biker being hit in the bike lane by a car turning right, and I still get honked at by another driver who had swerved into the bike lane to turn right. The casual callousness of some drivers.

This is creepy and might draw viewers as a gimmick for a few episodes... but game show hosts are iconic for a reason. It's one of the more reactive, human types of TV hosting. It's not just autocue reading!
