If WDI put the new pirate animatronic on the lift at the end of the ride and left the cavern scene intact it would have been universally praised by fans as enriching the show instead of detracting from it. It would be a great call back to the earlier scene and would make more sense.

Unreal 5.8 is (probably) the final UE5 version! Actors/Blueprints deprecated! I expected Blueprints to become a frontend for Verse (like how the Material Editor is basically a frontend for HLSL). But I guess not. Seems the "replacement" to BP for non-technical folks is... "use an LLM", which, uhh...

When I worked as a skipper at Disneyland I tried to emulate the Tokyo skippers for a while (I think a lot of DL skips do). But you eventually learn that Westerners don't laugh when you do this stuff! I would bring this energy to botes of Asian guests (it worked!), but not botes with Western guests
