A month ago I was bemoaning the state of @sanity.io - I was wrong. I’ve just spent the past couple of days setting up a new site & getting to grips with all the new features. Sanity haven’t spread themselves thin. They’ve made an epic platform to build… ANYTHING! 🥰 🤓 🧑‍💻

Joy of ADHD #36 A plan I made yesterday has now altered three times. So the decision part of my brain has now checked out and left me to it. 🧠

Anyone else feel that @sanity.io has lost its way a bit? I still love it, and the team behind it. But the quality feels like its dipped as they try to do so much. I spend more time debugging than I do building 😢

Here’s a thought: maybe don’t replace the nuclear weapons, because they are F**KING EVIL. Article from the Economist.

Mark Rutte, the secretary-general of NATO, told the European Parliament that Europe would still rely on America for its future defence, and that if anyone thought Europe could defend itself they should "keep on dreaming".
Europe would have to spend more than the 5% of GDP on defence it has pledged, he said; replacing nuclear weapons would cost billions.

I do feel like this is a perfect moment for the western world to ween itself off its USA dependence. I think we help provide the US with its global power by buying into the narrative. It’s not that we make it powerful — it can do that itself — but we are a key ingredient.

Just coming home from the #UNGA at 80 event in London. It was an incredible line up and a beautiful venue but shoddily organised to say the least. Waited over two hours in a queue to get in only to watch latecomers stroll in front of us. Missed all the main speeches. Gutted. And £100 lighter to boot

Anyone know why drunk people on buses always listen to rubbish music? I’d have a lot more tolerance if it was Ministry, Led Zeppelin, or Bruch’s Violin Concerto. But it’s always tinny dub

I’ve just realised how badly I’ve been neglecting BlueSky and how poorly I’ve been using it. I’m going to try and rectify this. Starting now… ish
