My friend Refaat will be 3ys dead this December. Most people don’t know that he wrote If I Must Die back in 2011. It is a poem, as the poet Fady Joudah said, “written by man who has already experienced the chronicle of a death foretold.” His words are immortal. ‘If I must die, Let it bring hope.’
