The California grid - @caiso.com seems to be really dialed in lately. - More solar growth - Sun Zia wind from NM - continued expansion of batteries are combining to produce record-low natural gas generation. The 12.5 GWh of generation was a record low for a day and the 2.5% was a record low share.

Repowering Altamount Pass wind projects - some of which are 40+ years old. This qualifies as a no-brainer. #energysky

One of these days, the world’s solar growth rate will decouple from China’s. Right now, it’s sorta decoupled in that the world will grow while China may detract - but the world total is still heavily based on China’s total. But it is great to see non China’s growth in double digits and over 300 GW.
