Golly, what a shame that surveillance cameras that were installed without public approval and subject to no oversight or controls were disappeared. Such a shame. www.gadgetreview.com/someone-cut-...
Someone Cut Down Every Single Flock Camera in This Town in a Single Night
Winona's 8 Flock Safety license plate cameras were stolen and poles cut overnight, leaving a $24,000 gap and no suspects.

Never trust a Republican to stick with a principled position. Never. They will always cave to Trump in the end, even if they must preposterously pretend that their conditions have been met.
Donald Trump told reporters he feels "badly" for Max Miller, a Republican congressman accused of abusing his wife, and hopes Miller can "work it out." The only thing less surprising than a Republican politician abusing his wife is Donald Trump empathizing with the abuser.
A microcosm of 2028? This is a story worth watching. They Were Voted Out. They Refuse to Leave. Now What? www.nytimes.com/2026/08/05/u...
They Were Voted Out. They Refuse to Leave. Now What? (Gift Article)
Avenal, Calif., a city in the rural Central Valley, has become an unlikely example of election denialism months after a recall election.

If you can’t impeach a President for laundering money, War crimes, corruption, Market Manipulations, illegal Wars nowadays, what can you impeach them for?
The In-N-Out Burger shooter comes from a family immersed in Trump propaganda. The shooter loved General Flynn, Elon Musk, and RFK Jr. He was pro-natalist and wanted to join ICE, but didn't have a college degree.
The shooter at the In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho that killed 3 people and injured 2 people is a Republican, white male. Shocked.
The effective federal corporate income tax rate: 1950: 50% 1990: 25% 2020: 13% Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate. That is how we will pay for it.
Apparently, on Christian album covers in the ’60s, the only thing worse than the hair was the obliviousness to the lewd double entendres.
So Tillis and Cornyn thought the 1.8. Billion dollar slush fun was so bad, that they will be willing to confirm the guy who came up with it. Huh
I’d like to see Slotkin get more attention. I also think Gretchen Whitmer is criminally under-appreciated. Pete gets plenty of attention, but I firmly believe he’ll be POTUS one day.
Honestly? The GOP attacks on Fauci and the attempt to revise the entire COVID pandemic. They’re completely underwater everywhere, and they’re trying to dredge up any red meat they can possibly find to feed to their base. I hate that Fauci is going through it, but good news for us politically.
I actually understand Beshear’s stance on this. If they want to drag it out until Tuesday and then admit he’s dead or incapacitated, let them. An empty seat and one less GOP vote until January sounds pretty good to me. Nobody seems to think he’s coming back to the Senate either way.
I’m skeptical that will hold up after we vote all these idiots out of office. That should be the first place our next Dem administration investigates, too - clearly they’re worried about something there.
The only realistic way that Elon can meddle in the midterms is through his bullshit PAC. He’s going to dump hundreds of millions of dollars into trying to get GOP candidates elected, but I don’t think it’s going to help. The GOP is underwater on every issue right now, and the economy sucks.
“Trump is underwater on deportations in 34 states, including all the swing states plus Florida, Texas, Iowa, & Alaska—all states w/elections for US Senate this year.” “Not one state prefers deporting everyone once voters are given an option to give citizenship to non-criminal long-term immigrants.”
New from Strength In Numbers: Trump’s immigration agenda and esp deportation operation is unpopular in every swing state — including Maine, where Susan Collins is trying to moderate on ICE www.gelliottmorris.com/p/even-repub...
"Mr. Karp refused one demand from the White House: that Mr. Karp commit to help re-litigate the 2020 election and that Paul Weiss say it had been part of weaponizing the justice system against Mr. Trump." The president used state power to coerce lies from DOJ & GOP elections officials & law firms
