Obvs love the first episode of #Ted #Lasso, but if the history of women’s football is worth doing, even with creative licence, it’s worth doing right. Women were not allowed to play again after the 1921 FA ban in England in 1971. It was overturned in 1969 and ratified by FA council Jan 1970.
