If the Dems had the majority of the leg, the presidency, and most of the judiciary imagine how much better we would be. Instead we had to piss on an electric fence….twice. And we wonder why the world mocks us.

I'm just gonna say the amount of peacefulness that these large rallies where essentially nobody was in charge is stunning and fantastic.The media doesn't seem to be too happy though… Definitely looking for any violence they can play up. But the story should be how unbelievably wonderful it all went.

This is such an important point by @betoorourke.bsky.social The party can’t just say “meet people where they are” and then pour all their time and money into seven battleground states. If Dems want folks to stop feeling ignored or left behind, they need to leave no stone unturned—year-round.

You know I hate that Trump was re-elected, I HATE that so many people could not see the blindingly obvious. So I get the whole "leopards ate my face party" schadenfreude exercise. I really get it, but we on the left (or more importantly non-MAGA) gotta get over this...
