Days like today we can all be glad that I don’t post about Rhode Island politics anymore.
I’m sure Trump and his family and close associates didn’t buy any stock over the past few days knowing that he would pause the tariffs and the markets would jump.
Among other things, he is very, very stupid. It’s a mistake to try too hard to figure out what his motives are. He’s just dumb and he does dumb things.

I left X (for the most part) in October 2023 because I realized that my time there was raising my blood pressure without any corresponding benefit. I am here out of curiosity but I’m not convinced it will be a better experience. I guess we’ll see!
