It's guys like this who'll say it's their duty to protect women and girls, then be the first in line to conduct all the genital inspections.
Did we ever find out if the A is for Asshole?

OMG they released it. This is Turtle Rock!! I helped Jeff Liu fill out the full score for his short, and also sat in on the final mix session with sfx, back in like 2023. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGiF...

The KORG Kronos reference is incorrect since it came out in 2011, but the samples still feel correct and doing side-by-side comparison seems essentially identical. I’m thinking the German Grand sample set may have come from somewhere before this, but it will take some more research.
I found the original sound source of the piano used for "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X. The hardware version is the KORG Kronos German Grand preset. There's a VST version you can get called SGX-2. Here's the original MIDI data played through the VST (with a little adjustment for velocities).

This is how cults indoctrinate: 1. Find people with a need 2. Love-bomb them to build a sense of security 3. Reduce love-bombing, creating hunger for more security 4. Instill that security only comes from more cult adherence and contribution 5. Cohabitate so everyone competes for more security
Reminded again that the FFX HD Remaster music has a bunch of really unfortunate mistakes that come from misaligned MIDI and improper VST usage. Like, really basic "listen to it once and know something is wrong" mistakes.
Understanding and differentiating yourself from your survival instincts, then finding healthy and safe ways to express those instincts regularly, is one of the most important things you can do as a person. The idea of gods or demons or talents or luck is fake. It’s just us with our complex brains.
Happy birthday to Rebecca Sugar! We hung out last week and all is good.
Welcome to the longest most expensive fireworks show in the country, the illegal fireworks of Los Angeles! It started 2-3 days ago, and tonight is the grand finale. It will be like this for hours.
Thank goodness for therapy because I’ve learned that I grew up experiencing a vast amount of insidious emotional neglect, where my childhood emotions weren’t acknowledged in a healthy way, or mirrored back to me in an empathetic way. I have to work on this because now healthy mirroring feels weird.
Is the docuseries gonna include the part where they got bought out and the internal unannounced projects were all suddenly canceled and all the employees were laid off and many shows were suddenly taken offline and the studio building was abandoned and the iconic stairway was painted over?
🚨Adult Swim has announced a five-part documentary series about Cartoon Network and its legacy. The series will explore the network’s eras and its legendary artists throughout its 34 year history. The docuseries will premiere in 2027.
This discourse makes me tired. There’s a huge difference between being a social media diva and being a business owner. Do not connect them. They’re not the same thing. Social media is one aspect of marketing. Business is about finding the best ways to meet the needs of others with your creativity.
I know this is not the biggest concern going these days, but it stresses me out that basically every artist/writer/critic is now expected to create their own tiny empire instead of getting paid by any existing entity to perform a job they've worked to get good at!!!!
The super niche ones for me are Starsiege: Tribes, Dungeon Siege, and Onlive Traveler
I would like to know! 🤓👾
Me deleting social media apps in my phone so I can get back to existing in reality again

Grateful to have played a small part in making this a success, and sharing that with a world that is clearly very hungry for new animation that isn't locked behind greedy corporate oversight.
‘The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act’ tops the Thursday box office with $7.8 MILLION from over 2,000 theaters, beating ‘Scary Movie’. The film is projected to make around $12 million throughout the opening weekend.
Saw the Amazing Digital Circus movie tonight and it was great! I got credited!
Currently thinking about ditching Windows for a Linux distro. Not sure I'm ready to take the plunge yet, but I keep getting closer.
Waymo seems to be a hot button issue lately, and supporters say it's safer for riders. My response is, if a company is willing to destroy competition, offload jobs to cheaper foreign countries, engage in wage theft, and underpay employees, they don't view riders as worth protecting to begin with.
ugh finally, I've wanted this feature for seems like decades
I'm just imagining someone making an AI movie, then doing a Comic-Con panel about it, and they have absolutely no advice or knowledge about their work, and then there's a Q&A where they just fumble through it the whole time because they offloaded the creative responsibility to AI.
Jorge R. Gutierrez says animating with AI was like “having sex and then they hand you the baby” during his appearance at the AI on the Lot convention. He currently has a project named ‘Punky Duck’ through Amazon MGM’s GenAI Creators’ Fund.
Ironic how most blockbuster movies these days look like video game cutscenes
Hi I made a psychology chart attempting to describe the different combinations of internalized/externalized self-worth with various levels of identity rigidity (I'm not a psychologist)
Calling it now that there's eventually gonna be a news story like "Gas companies make record profits yet again, because there's always been plenty of oil to go around, but a bunch of people got bombed to convince you that we're stuck in an artificial scarcity."
