new screenshots for gifwrapped's upcoming release. do you like them as much as i hated making them? (i've been putting these off for at least a couple of weeks)

i think i might be done with the dev on gifwrapped's design refresh? maybe? i've been working on it for so long, i'm not actually sure TBH
boy, those app store rejection messages really haven't gotten any less vague, have they?
this is _not_ something i do often: i'm opening up 100 spots on each of the testflights for both the macOS and iOS versions of GIFwrapped (they're separate, and you need to be on both if you want both). iOS: macOS: testflight.apple.com/join/NkF...

probably more polish to do, but the liquid glass update is _finally_ going out to testflight now (after the usual review nonsense). boy has the drawer been a pain to uplift. so many small details to get right.
while i'm at it, bonus callsheet fun fact, just for you: the 'pretty in pink' icon exists because a callsheet user complained about the slight purple tint on the icon, so with casey's permission… I WENT HARDER.
hello, new followers. nice to have you here! i'm an infrequent poster, but don't worry… i mostly post absolute nonsense
my favourite part of the callsheet icon showing up in the WWDC app rap is that they used the original, not the one we had to whip up to avoid """copyright infringement."""
holy shit, the icon i designed was in a WWDC video. congrats on the callout, @liss.bsky.social #wwdc @wwdc2026
my doctor has me logging my blood pressure at different times each day, so i made a little app to help me log it into health a little easier. if you log your blood pressure at home, i'd be keen to get your feedback on the testflight. if you don't, please don't take spots from people who might actua

i been using indigo for a bit, and it's the goods. ben and aaron have poured themselves into this app, and it shows 💜
Introducing Indigo A beautiful new app for Bluesky and Mastodon and the best way to experience both social networks together. It's tough keeping up with everyone when they're split across networks but Indigo brings them together for a seamless social experience. apps.apple.com/us/app/indigo-...
sometimes it legit saddens me that i can't stand cake in most forms. tonight i made a tiramisu ice box cake for my wife's birthday. it's legit good, but a tiny taste during construction set me the heck off 🥲
this is SO FAR from finished, but i'm pretty happy with where i've gotten to so far. …and yeah, it's custom built. fuck you, apple.
started working on the 'drawer' in gifwrapped last night (the sheet with search bookmarks), and i can either do it with a native, simple sheet presentation, but lose the ability to show live results, or do it all custom (like the existing sheet). 😫
i have recently discovered that homemade lemonade is fucking awesome, and this is the sort of good shit i need more of in my life
i am in the process of growing out my undercut and i'm here to tell you it gets so much worse before it gets better
just finished book 12 of 'he who fights with monsters.' series starts a bit meh, but improves dramatically as it goes.
🚀 New blog post! AsyncCombine: Because Async Code Shouldn’t Be Ugly I brought back Combine’s sink, assign, and CombineLatest - but built powered by Swift Concurrency. Observing @Observable from another ViewModel shouldn’t be painful. Here’s how I fixed it 👉 lumley.io/blogs/async-...
AsyncCombine: Because Async Code Shouldn’t Be Ugly
When Swift first introduced Combine, I loved it. The syntax was expressive, pipelines were easy to follow, and @Published made state changes feel almost magical. But as Apple pushed us toward Swift Co...
