It’s infuriating when a woman comes forward about a man raping her in his hotel room after drinking and the response is “Why would she go to his room?” “Why would she drink with him?” This is Mike Pence logic. Women should be allowed to hang out with men without expecting they will be raped.

We have enough money in this country to make sure no child goes hungry, no family goes bankrupt from a hospital bill, and no senior has to choose between medicine and rent. We just keep giving it to billionaires instead. Tax the rich.

During the 1979 energy crisis, Carter invested in alternative energy. He put forward numerous policies to combat the crisis in addition to installing solar panels on the WH to promote solar energy. Reagan took them off. Where would we be now if the US had continued that investment into solar energy?

Federal agents outnumber local police by a ratio of 5 to 1. How does the federal government expect local police to provide protection for them? This is exactly why federal agents should coordinate all of their efforts with local officials instead of coming in as if they are invading the city.

I hope this regime keeps talking about the legal gun Alex Pretti was carrying. Those who live and breathe the 2A should see the rhetoric coming from the WH and other officials as a MAJOR concern about their own right to carry.

In the last 30 years, there have been seven shutdowns (including this one). Four of those have occurred under Trump - including the longest one in history that lasted 34 days. Republicans have control of the House, Senate and the White House. A shutdown means the president is weak. #MDIndivisible
