I'm an artist improving in my free time and want to get better in the course of becoming a character designer.
#百鬼絵巻 After the 2nd half of this year not drawing all that much, I want to be more consistent with my art so I decided I'll try to produce a couple of these per week with the same type of quality (base colours, no shading, no background) while I'm self studying art).
This is the most wholesome drawing trend I've ever seen of someone who's earnestly trying to improve on drawing a difficult angle, I know it's difficult for me too, but I think we're all going to make it. Anyway, it's cool that I got to draw Frieren for the first time.

Taking notes on anatomy and using that new knowledge to fix an issue on my fanart in progress is a rewarding feeling. I know that doing it once doesn't mean I have ascended, it means that I have a foothold on practicing what I learn until it becomes ingrained as a habit as my new way of drawing.
Late night sketch achieved for my next fanart achieved, I was planning on challenging myself with composition, but since I procrastinated on the last illustration, I'll be doing something simple so I can get back in the flow.

A rushed sketch is better than no sketch. I'll do my best to clean up the sketch and add color to it before I post the finished version tomorrow or the next day.
I was starting to draw an idea for a fanart, however I got stuck when I realized that I'm going to need to practice the pose I have in mind first. So I used my frustration to sketch something else without thinking and it kept the positive feeling I have with drawing.
