Sharing cool photo of this insect that flew by me looking weird. Is as a "hanging thief" robber fly. It hung on the Virginia creeper and manipulated the bees and stuck it's mouthpiece into it. Horrifying but also so interesting at the same time.
It's been oppressively hot which makes me feel irritable and half speed. But I think of abundance of sight, hearing, taste and smell. food and working kitchen. Companionship. Music. The ability of my hands and arms. Cool sheets and pillow. How it feels to slip into cool waters. Relief.
