I guess I'm cool enough that someone is out there impersonating me using this email address: jenniferrofe.agent@gmail.com. This is NOT me. I use a proper and obvious work address for, well, work.

In the last week, my job has entailed conversations about butts (yes, really), alligators, fairies, and gnomes. All completely unrelated to each other. Working in kidlit can have serious -- and strange -- perks.

Jurassic Park was my "The Book Is Better" awakening. I read that book behind every textbook so I could finish before opening night. I was giddy with excitement in the theater waiting for the movie to start, and then I was disappointed because of elements they changed. Alas. What an awakening.

I need y’all to know something very important. Jurassic Park the movie, and Jurassic Park the book are VASTLY different things. The movie is dinosaur adventure, this is fun. The book is dinosaur horror. I love both very much (but I will always choose the book) 🙂‍↕️🦖

I'm not supposed to buy any more books until I make a dent on the three stacks on my nightstand, and I've bought four books in the past two weeks. Oh well. Three of those this week alone.
