Illustration on a red-to-orange gradient background showing a person looking out a window at a city scene. Yellow labels point to the workers who make daily life possible, including construction workers, municipal employees, warehouse workers, carpenters, laborers, plumbers, recycling plant workers, maintenance workers, garbage collectors, wastewater treatment workers, road workers, delivery riders, safety inspectors, pest control workers, electricians, technicians, cleaners and social workers. Text reads, “Look out your window. Everything you can see is there because of workers. Happy May Day • International Workers Day.” Below the image, text reads, “Illustration by Sam Wallman,” with the In These Times logo at the bottom.
