Keynote speaker Prof P. Sainath, and researcher and media strategist Jacqui Park, are presenting their findings on journalism’s sustainability. Together they are exploring how resilient business models and mission driven strategies can secure journalism’s future.

The last day of JERAA Conference 2025 is underway with panelists Faleagafulu Inga Stünzner, Stefan Armbruster, Leah Lowonbu, and chaired by Dr Kasun Ubayasiri discussing the topic of Empowering Pacific Journalism in Turbulent Times.

Day 2 continues with our fourth parallel presentation session. Themes covered between two rooms are ‘Rural, Regional, and Community Journalism’ and ‘AI, Disinformation and Fact-Checking’ A workshop on strategies to make journalism more inclusive for neurodiverse students is also underway.
