It's a three star album that received four stars in most places because nobody wanted to downgrade the greatest songsmith of the 20th century

The Iron Maiden film is weirdly meh. We know they're an extraordinary band, but that story arc of two acts was a bit simplistic, and they definitely could have uncovered more than the fact Dickinson and Harris are a pair of driven shitbags

Received an email from a PR representing a young band who are apparently bringing NYC indie rock back into the limelight. Had to explain that I'm generally more interested in old Germans using their washing machines to make noise. It's a personal failing.
