FI Comms guy, City Councillor, dad, spouse, and musician in the far north. Pretending to be normal and failing miserably. Opinions are my own.
What’s embarrassing is that you have an entire donor industrial complex dedicated to capturing your political system for the most affluent people in society and it’s become so normalized that a story like this doesn’t result in anyone picking up a pitchfork or a torch and storming the castle.
More than half a dozen Democratic donors, bundlers and donor advisers said they’ve lost trust in the DNC. “It’s beyond embarrassing and it’s not going to get better until [Ken Martin] is gone,” one Democratic bundler told us.

Went out to W.A.C. Bennett Dam yesterday and did the tour with the kid. The spillway is open right now and discharge is 1,300 cubic metres per second. Stopped in Hudson's Hope for an early dinner and checked out Dinosaur Lake on the way home. All around nice Sunday.

God… damn it. Amazon Prime Video‘s God of War series will recast the starring role of Kratos, the titular God of War, following an injury to the original actor Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy).
It's been a good year for snowmelt and rain, but we'll need years of average or above average precipitation to recover from the last four years.

The idea that there's something noble and principled about engaging with strangers whose opinion you don't care about is imbecilic. Curating your information ecosystem so that it's not overrun by charlatans, fanatics and basement dwellers is required to effectively use the tool.
