What’s embarrassing is that you have an entire donor industrial complex dedicated to capturing your political system for the most affluent people in society and it’s become so normalized that a story like this doesn’t result in anyone picking up a pitchfork or a torch and storming the castle.

I'm a forty-two year old dad. I have a kid to raise, a mortgage to pay, yard work to do and leftovers to eat. Popular culture has passed me by and that's a-okay. I actually prefer it. Having to keep up with things and have opinions about stuff that doesn't effect me seems like a lot of work.

Went out to W.A.C. Bennett Dam yesterday and did the tour with the kid. The spillway is open right now and discharge is 1,300 cubic metres per second. Stopped in Hudson's Hope for an early dinner and checked out Dinosaur Lake on the way home. All around nice Sunday.
