Let’s level set. MICHIGAN is a must-win if we want to flip the Senate. A word caution: This race was tighter than many predicted. El-Sayed needs Stevens supporters in the general, so it’s not smart strategy to keep them angry. Welcome them. Focus on issues. Time is short, so healing must be quick

Candidate for US Congress in OH-12 https://ChristianForOhio.com “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'" ~ Mr. Rogers
Our lives are being sold to people who don't care if we live or die. Billionaires. Corporations. Their servants in government. But they lost in Michigan last night, and they will continue to lose as long as we continue to fight for ourselves and our country's future.
New merch is here! Some folks asked for shirts that say "Can I pet your dog?" after they saw the parade video. Unlike my opponent, I actually listen (and I don't shake hands with fascists). Shop and support at store.christianforohio.com
The least qualified and dumbest people are running our government. What are you willing to do to change that?
Vivek Ramaswamy vs. Dr. Amy Acton? I'm voting for the candidate who doesn't get booed off stage, talk down to the working class, fly out of the country on the 4th of July, or move their business to another state.
Someone said I'm only running for Congress to drink beer and pet dogs. I can do both of those things at home, but I will gladly grab a beer with you for the chance to talk about our children's future. That won't change when I'm elected.
I grew up just outside Wayne National Forest. I even mention it in this interview. Now the Trump administration is selling nearly 3,000 acres of it for oil and gas drilling. They are stripping our county and selling it for parts.
Most of our lawmakers have given up on serving us. They've chosen instead to sell their House seats, our nation, and our future so they can get rich and be part of the utopia they're building for the top 1%.
They poison our air, our water, our soil, our people - and we reward them with votes. We are Ohio, robbed of our resources for generations and left in a dumping ground to wallow in the disasters of our corporate overlords. Don't forget to thank the elected officials, almost all of them Republican.
The most important thing we can do to change politics and government for the better is end Citizens United. And it won't happen if we don't expand the Supreme Court.
When it comes to MAGA voters, our algorithms and our information might be different, our perceived enemies are very different, but our struggles are the same. Affordability. Medical costs. Debt. Data centers. Our real enemy is the corporate oligarchy.
I care more about feeding children than building data centers. I want the government to give every American health care instead of helping a billionaire buy their third yacht. That doesn't make me a "radical leftist." It makes me a decent human being.
In just over 48 hours, we made it to Guernsey to fight against data centers, Licking to help out my fellow veterans, Noble to support volunteer firefighters, Coshocton to rain on Troy's parade, and Knox to meet hundreds of Ohioans ready to FLIP THIS HOUSE SEAT!
I'm at the Public Square in Mount Vernon until 9pm for the Flip The 12th concert. Live music, photo ops, a town hall, and lots of great vendors. Come out and see me!
SHOCKER! Rep. Balderson literally ran away from me, as he does around most people old enough to vote. But last night wasn't about him. I came to meet voters and pet all the dogs.
The last time we talked, Rep. Troy Balderson told me we'd never be in a photo together... Checkmate.
Before you can rewrite history, you have to destroy it.
I spent last night in Lore City, OH, learning more about data centers with residents, officials, and Republican state lawmakers from rural counties. Here are four takeaways from the event... 🧵 /1
"I take a look at your opponent Troy Balderson, and there's nothing there." Vaush sees it. I think the voters see it, too. If you spend all of your time with lobbyists and consultants, you don't even know what your constituents' lives are like back home.
I have the same concerns about the Democratic Party as most of the rational people I talk to. Will they do anything meaningful when they take back the House and Senate? I don't know, but if I'm there, I'll raise hell if they don't.
Troy Balderson is unqualified to serve in Congress, and that's putting it politely. Everyone who knows him knows it. They had to redraw the district just to stop him from losing. But gerrymandering may not be enough to win him the election this time.
When Democrats win in November, we aren't going to sit down and shut up. We have to stop the gutting of education, the expansion of the surveillance state, and the conversion of our tax dollars into bombs. We have to stop letting Americans die because they can't afford health care.
Thank you to Alexandria Fun Days for having me as a judge at the ice cream eating contest! Being a part of our community is the best part of working to represent the people of OH-12.
We have too much work to do to stay feeling powerless. There is too much at risk to stay home and give up. The oligarchs controlling our lives and our future need us hopeless. Don't let them win.
Republicans have controlled Ohio policy for over 40 years, and instead of hold them accountable, people fall for it when they say "blame Democrats" or "blame fraud." Republicans got us here all on their own. If you think voting for them in November will fix anything, think again.
When people think about a congressional campaign, they probably don't picture the candidate shaving in a Walmart bathroom.
The best part of waking up? Taking on the billionaires that bought this House seat and stole our representation.
People think there must be something special about me because I'm running for Congress. There isn't. I'm just a dad doing the hard work to build a better world for our sons and daughters. There are people like me all around you. Find them in your community.
Are we supposed to ignore the deaths in Gaza and Iran while we pray for Lindsey Graham's non-existent family? Just curious.
We pay more for health care than any other developed nation, and yet we still let some people die instead of treating them. Your access to lifesaving care should not depend on your bank account.
