Jerseyboy surviving in the PNW 🌲 📍Seattle He/Homie 🏳️‍🌈

Had my weekly 5pm Sunday therapy sesh. Realizing the people in my close circle who didn't show up for me during 6 months of chemo do not deserve my dedicated friendship. Figuring out how to step away from best friends...I'm not someone to cut people off completely.

Day 3 of trying to get my oncology office to send paperwork to my job about medical leave & restrictions. Got my fave nurse to help & now she's having the manager call me tomorrow. Not everyone in patient care is actually good at patient care😒

since last week after completing chemo, i've been riddled with anxiety. i have a full body scan next week to determine if the treatments worked. feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest...i want to live & i want my life back!

Just got home from receiving my LAST treatment of chemotherapy/immunotherapy!!! 24 weeks of suffering is over, but we won't know for sure until i get my body scan on sept. 8th. Getting stoned & staying on the couch for the rest of the day😴

Spent the afternoon at my favorite nudie beach. I haven't been able to swim this summer because of my cancer, but I actually was able to be in the water for hours today! Feeling good, thankfully! Last dose of chemo on tuesday, so i'm glad to have all this energy

back home from seeing my oncologist. he still believes i have a 90% chance of remission. last dose of chemotherapy on 8/25!!! full body scan on 9/4!!! the summer of struggle is almost over!!

Chemotherapy dose 11 of 12 today. Feeling thankful for getting to the near end without major problems. Very ready to have my life back & this fucking port out of my chest!

Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy dose 10 of 12 today. It does not get easier. I went into the bathroom, had a panic attack & cried before the nurse hooked me up. I'm strong, but feeling very weak currently..
