Went to Tennessee for the first time since 2017 a few days ago. Took 324 pictures on the trip. Then came home to discover that my uploading cord no longer worked. New one arrived today and I’ve spent almost two hours going through pictures. Then had to rename each one to upload elsewhere.
Glober has quickly became my primary travel figure. Stumbled upon this spot while visiting Tennessee earlier.
Amazing how Sony ripped to shreds all the good will that came to them due to Astro Bot.

Took a few laps around the bamboo forest and then Dusty decided to join me. Though I had to occasionally stop for attention time or when curiosity struck.
Stumbled upon this post and seeing it makes me think back to my annoyance with the Netflix Transformers Kingdom series. That series could had been the Transformers equivalent of Star Trek Generations. Instead Hasbro was too cheap to bring them in and now the opportunity is forever lost.
My luck with space related events is certainly something. It was sunny all day and now that a lunar eclipse is happening, I’m dealing with thunderstorms…..

The loss of Peter Cullen stings though one positive outlook for me is the fact my old photographer friend TCracker can now meet his idol.
Stop fucking using genAI. Not even for a joke, not even for that oh so cutting political satire. Every time you use it, you are actively taking food out of our mouths. You are using the weapon of the enemy. We do not need it.
Ciara | Ciaraíoch 🎨@ciaraioch.bsky.social · 2w agoThe amount of working artists I've spoken to who are losing or have lost the ability to make a viable career out of it due largely to people's use of genAI instead of hiring artists is genuinely so upsetting. We won't know what we've lost until it's gone.
Could people please stop doing that “wrong” joke? Clearly it’s having the opposite effect each time.
