Hey friends; just had an update from our local food bank. In July, they doubled the number of people they help, from their June numbers. Please remember the food banks, as this month, they expect to again double the help they give.

Just wanted to take a moment and thank firefighters, all over the world, who are fighting these horrific fires. And in intense heat. I can’t imagine. Take a moment, think about them. They are the good ones in this world.

@morguetech.bsky.social · 4w agoSo, who's collecting McConnell pay? I understand the politics of this, but not knowing the status of an active US senator is ludicrous. Rest assured, if this was a Democratic senator, the GOP would be screaming from the rooftops.
Just received the local ads for grocery stores. Looks like there’s a fire sale on produce and veggies. Crazy prices. I’ll stick to my local strawberry farm.

Trump essentially opens his mouth and distracts everyone with his bizarre behaviour while he does a bunch of decorating, renaming, grifting, cheating, and then brags about what he’s doing to whoever will listen. He really is a breathing turd.
