Edinburgh Fringe tonight - songs, stories, shenanigans.

The Pitmen Poets tour ends this week with a run of North East concerts, starting at Billingham Forum tomorrow night, Wednesday 8th July. Some tickets still left! On to Whitley Bay, Durham and Sunderland this coming weekend.

And tonight The Pitmen Poets return to Barnsley Civic Theatre! Still a few tickets left, we’re told.

The Pitmen Poets are in beautiful sunny Northumberland tonight, at Alnwick Playhouse, and on to Hexham’s Queens Hall tomorrow. Then a quick dip to Barnsley Civic on Saturday. Come and join us!

Later that same year… In July I’m solo at Kingswinford Folk club (17th), followed by a songwriting workshop day and evening concert at Lewes Saturday Folk Club (18th) and the a MainStage slot at Pig’s Ear Festival in Kent ( 19th). Great to be back at all three! Meanwhile, on with The Pitmen Poets.

Bob, Billy and me - rehearsals today at Seaton Delaval Arts Centre for The Pitmen Poets tour which starts in Beverley on June 18th. It’ll be fab!

It’s Tuesday, it’s Scotland, it’s Balerno, just south of Edinburgh. A favourite gig, starting at 7.30.

Thanks to everybody at Forgotten Lands festival yesterday out in remotest Cumbria. It was a blast.

Tomorrow (Sunday May 17th), I’m at Topsham Folk Club near Exeter. One of my favourites. The end of a great week of gigs in the Deep South.

It’s Wednesday. Back at Cramlington folk club tonight in sunny Northumberland.

TWO North East gigs for me in the next week - Rowlands Gill Community Centre on Saturday 25th and Cramlington Benedictine Social Club on Wednesday 29th.

Looking forward to being back in North East England at Rowlands Gill Community Centre next Saturday (April 25th). Great venue.
