Every YouTube woodworking video, “I value safety as my highest priority!” Proceeds to then demonstrate a cut on a table saw using his face as a push stick.
Every day, my opinion on social media grows darker and I find myself questioning my use of it. I find there are few positives, and I'm struggling any find more. Meanwhile, it's the only source of anger and anxiety in my life. I dislike how it weaponizes people and enables grifters of all sorts.
When normal people saw Jurassic Park, they understood it as a story about trying to profit off dangerous not fully understood technology. Tech bros saw it as a business plan.

I honestly don’t see this happening. The Starship program has run into setbacks costing them at least a year and a half. SpaceX has to wrap up everything with Starship by 2028 and hope a republican wins the presidency. If a dem wins, Musk is in a world of hurt. Deservedly so.
"NASA helped build out SpaceX," and now America's space agency is utterly dependent on the richest man alive.
The Artemis astronauts displaying the best of humanity while exploring the celestial heavens while the worst of humanity rages in his lonely little white house.

I must not AI. AI is the art-killer. AI is the creative-death that brings artistic obliteration. I will face AI. I will permit it to pass over me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the AI has gone there will be nothing. Only my creativity will remain. #ai

This cannot be something a civilian law enforcement agent is allowed to wear in the US — and an agency that has a culture that tolerates this cannot be saved.
Fucking surreal that people dressed like this and carrying assault rifles are permitted to kidnap people off our streets
Reminds me of the race in On the Beach. Very dark and very disturbing.
These people are deranged.
The thing is ... the credibility well has been poisoned. In this age of Trump, all I see and read from government folks are non-stop lies or meaningless performative gestures. If you are going to do something, then do something. Spare me the theatrics. People are dying.
Donald Trump must fire Kristi Noem immediately. Or Democrats will initiate impeachment proceedings against her in the House. We can do this the easy way or the hard way.
This is powerful from military veterans about Alex Pretti. "They took his life. Don't let them take his name."
Trump and his allies are already smearing Alex Pretti’s name instead of confronting the truth. Veterans who served our country and lived because of the VA are outraged. Alex was a VA nurse and hero, not a villain. Stay informed. Join the fight. Follow @saveamericamvmt.bsky.social
The more I learn about AI, the higher my eyebrow raises at people who fawn over it. This is not going to end well, and a lot of you will be looking very foolish.
When you "hate the libs" so much that you destroy your own country just to "own them".
Final Cut Pro was a steal at $300. It made sense since Apple was all about hardware. Now that they've grown a taste for subscription revenue, it's 12.99 per month. For now. This price point is low enough to get the frogs in the water. The next step is to turn up the heat.
These Apple Apps Will No Longer Receive All New Features Without a Subscription
It's always a good sign when a service that I don't have an account with, notifies me that there has been a security breach, but my data is safe.
Settings -> Content and Media -> Autoplay videos and Gifs Turn it off if you value your mental health. Also, for some reason, Blue Sky turns it back on if you switch to another platform.
